It should go without saying, but buffing your warriors significantly before engaging is a wise idea, and generally the weaker the Mandragora Swarms are at the start of the fight, the better your odds will be. Tar Pool and Obsidian Flow are both… passable, but since the Mandragora Swarms have a Reflex Save of 20 the odds of them being immobilized by these spells isn’t great, but even a 25%-50% chance is worth trying. Fireball is the bare minimum you’ll need to participate in a meaningful fashion, but ideally you’ll use something with a little more impact, like Firestorm.
